About Jon's Custom Flower Pots

Where did it all begin? Well, at the young age of 14 years old, Jon began working his first job at Twin Pond Farm, a garden center located on Rt.9 North in Howell, NJ. Over the next 5 years, it was here where Jon acquired his knowledge about plants.

Jon's mother, Christine, loves flowers but lacks the green thumb that her son has. As a mother's day gift, Jon surprised his mother with several different kinds of planters that he had made and placed around the house. Planter boxes that he had mounted on the railing of the front porch, large stationary planters on the corners of the back porch, and hanging baskets around the pool area. Jon's mother was very impressed with her son's skill, and so, as any mother would, she began to show her friends her son's creations. Well, several of her friends were just as impressed as she was, and so they asked Jon's mother, "Do you think your son could make some planters for me?". The answer to that question: Yes, yes he can.

And so, season by season, customer by customer, what started out as small as a seed, grew into a beautiful business named Jon's Custom Flower Pots.
